Our PTSA

Mission

The mission of the Louis Armstrong Middle School PTSA is to make a difference in the education and quality of life for not only your child but also for all children across the country.  Your membership fees enable us to foster the growth of our children and facilitate the needs of Louis Armstrong Middle School while providing positive support to the students, parents, Armstrong MS teachers and staff as well as the community. At the local level, the goal of all parent-teacher-student groups has always been to support their teacher relations as well as sponsor and organize events.

Here at Armstrong MS, dues are $12, $6.75 of which goes to the National organization to help with legislation and advocacy and part of which we get to keep for our school-related programs.  $5.25 goes to Armstrong PTSA and you can choose to make an additional donation (many parents choose to round up their payment for example) which will remain with the Armstrong PTSA for use at our school level.

Our PTSA is made up of hard-working parents & teachers who pool their talents to provide practical support for our school. Those listed below volunteered to provide leadership this year. Get to know their names and faces, and feel free to ask them if you have questions.
